Asin Tibuok 1 Kilo (Pre-Colonial Filipino Salt)
ASIN TIBUOK [ä-sin tē–bʊ-ʊk] is a sharp and earthy sea salt presenting mild smoky undertones on the palate. An old form of salt preservation once used for trade created in a clay vessel upon an open flame. Serve shaved using a microplane to give any dish a “salt dusting”. Its application is only limited by the boundaries of your culinary intrigue.
Each Asin Tibuok clay pot will vary in appearance due to the natural cooling process. Some pots will be fully intact, others will have less of the clay pot. This is normal.
Each order contains 1 kilo of Asin Tibuok and will be placed in packaging unique to the islands – a hand woven box from buri palm is intricately woven with nito (red finger fern) overlay and secured with a special bow (Note: bows will vary). The outer packaging is eco-friendly and 100% biodegradable. UNTIL SUPPLIES LAST.
We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us at IstoryaLV@gmail.com.
